This 1991 plate is entitled “My Angel” by the artist MaGo, and is part of a series of eight porcelain plates in the “Heavenly Angels” series from the Danbury Mint and Artaffects LTD. This sweet scene shows a happy child with a beautiful Christmas ornament that has an angel inside it, and an angel cherub with holly leaves and berries in her hair standing by!
This collector plate measures about 8 1/8 inches across. The round white styrofoam box is included, and also the certificate of authenticity from the Danbury Mint. The COA says that this dish is trimmed in 23kt gold, and was limited to a maximum of 75 firing days. The back of the plate says that “The plate was fired and decorated in the United States from fine imported components”. The plate “is not for food use”.
This plate is in excellent condition. The styrofoam box has the plate name hand written in ink on it.
This charming Heavenly Angels plate would make a wonderful decorative addition to a child’s room or angel themed room, and a great gift for that special person.
This plate came from a large private collection that I just acquired, which includes collector plates of many types and many manufacturers, including the other “Heavenly Angels” plates in this series, each offered separately. The plates from this collection have been stored away, and because they are in such great condition I wonder if they were ever displayed? I will be offering these other plates separately, and I invite you to check my other eCRATER store items for these.
