This is a very pretty scenic Noritake souvenir of Japan porcelain china collector plate. Scenes on the front include “Mt. Fuji” in the center, and around the border “The Imperial Palace”, “Osaka Castle”, “Miyajima”, “Kyoto Heian Shrine”, “Nikko”, and “Nara”. The back of the plate is marked “Souvenir of Japan” and “Noritake” and “Nippon Toki Kaisha” with a logo.
The plate measures about 10 1/4 inches across. The colors are lovely in this interesting plate, and there is a gold-tone line around the outer edge. The plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. This plate came from an estate, and I do not know the age of the plate but I would guess that it is fairly contemporary in age?
Noritake is a quality manufacturer of highly collectible porcelain, china, and dinnerware.
I do not have the original box for this plate.
